This is a bearing Type Pump and Superceded Bush type.


Things to be aware of:

  1. There is no supersession on convertor, the issue with this is the bearing has slightly larger clearance and can allow more oil to pass and compromise the front seal even blowing the seal out.
  2. If the pump bush has lodged and seized on the convertor spout and this surface area/diameter is reduced by machining you will increase blow-by oil and increase the chance of seal blow out.

Things you can do:

Measure convertor spout. This should be 46.94mm minimum – if your spout is under you can replace the convertor spout. Sonnax has convertor spouts available (part # 115950).
