Symptoms:

Cause:
A worn pump flow control valve and/or bore allow pump pressure to cross leak into the low pressure side of the pump and reduce pressure available for the belt drive pulleys.

Correction:
Refurbish the pump flow control valve bore and install the Sonnax oversized valve to restore adequate pressure for the pump drive pulleys.


In Nissan/Jatco JF010E (RE0F09A/RE0F09B) units the pump body flow control valve bore wears due to constant valve movement. Wear allows critical pump pressure to leak into the low pressure side of the pump, reducing pressure needed for proper engagements and push belt pulleys to operate correctly. This Sonnax oversized pump flow control valve allows the pump body to be refurbished and hydraulic control to be restored.
