ACCUMULATOR COVER PLATE KIT 45/5-45/68RE

The accumulator plate in Chrysler 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE and 68RFE units is weak and not held securely enough to withstand the impact of the accumulator pistons. The OE plate flexes, causing the screws to loosen and break.

This Sonnax accumulator cover plate kit is an upgrade over the OE plate and allows salvage of valve bodies with damaged plates. The patented plate is made of thicker steel and has three additional screw holes to hold the plate more securely. Tightly-toleranced tap T-26980 provides higher torque yield threads than common shop taps.
